Ser Urbano is an annual event of the Architecture and Urbanism course at PUC-Rio. It is organized by students and, therefore, reflects their concerns in the field of architecture and urbanism, seeking to stimulate critical and creative thinking in the academic environment. The week, which brings together round tables, debates and film screenings, reached its 10th edition in 2019.

The conversations intend to address situations of transience, urban integration, reception and housing policies, among other topics, with the participation of several professionals and people in a situation of refuge. To foster a broader debate on humanitarian architecture, conversations were organized on the topic, from the perspective of the expanded field, in the second half of 2020, always on Thursdays at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), with free online transmission by Zoom and YouTube.
